Mauricio Umansky slammed Lala Kent for implying he slid into her DMs to ask her on a date.
“Oh man, she’s such a f–king liar it’s not even funny, dude,” Umansky told TMZ while leaving upscale eatery Craig’s in Los Angeles Tuesday.
He added, “Like, really? I was thinking about actually posting the post. But I’m gonna tell you, she’s a liar.”
The “Vanderpump Rules” star, 35, claimed during a recent episode of her “Untraditionally Lala” podcast that Kyle Richards’ estranged husband messaged her amid his split from the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star and asked her out for coffee.
Kent claimed the DM came after she brought up his separation from Richards during an episode of her former podcast, “Give Them Lala,” and that she suspected it was about damage control.

She also claimed she never opened the private message and said there was “not a chance” of them meeting up.
While the 55-year-old real estate mogul admitted to having messaged her, he also said Kent’s claim lacked context.
“I did message her because she was talking s–t, and I said, ‘Hey, you wanna talk s–t about me, I’ll f–king talk to you,’” Umansky claimed.
“She said in the podcast that she never opened the text,” he continued. “The last word on my text — and it’s a long text — says, ‘Let’s have coffee.’ And in her podcast, she says I invited [her] to have coffee. The only way she knew that I invited her to have a coffee is if she would’ve opened the f–king text.”
The outlet subsequently obtained the contentof Umansky’s message on Wednesday evening, sharing a screenshot of the interaction.

“Hey Lala, how are you?” the alleged text, written on Feb. 24, 2024, read. “Hey I am wondering since you seem to have an opinion and speculations about me as to whether I am a player or not I would like to talk to you.”
“Let me know if you are up for that,” he added. “By phone or happy to get a coffee?”
A rep for Kent did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Umansky and Richards, 57, separated after 27 years of marriage back in July 2023. The former couple — who share four daughters, including one from Richards’ previous marriage — denied speculation of “wrongdoing” in a joint statement.
“There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part,” they wrote in part, referencing dating rumors involving Richards’ friend, country star Morgan Wade.

“Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately,” the statement went on. “While it may be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative.”
In May 2024, the “Halloween” actress confirmed that Umansky had recently moved out of their Encino residence and into a West Hollywood pad.
“I’m used to having a lot of chaos and stuff going on around in my house, and the day that he moved out was just strange because I came home and I was like, ‘Everything’s so quiet,’” Richards said during an appearance on the “Bitch Bible” podcast.
Though the former power couple sparked reconciliation rumors after spending Thanksgiving together as a family, then looking “very obviously together” at a New Year’s Eve bash in Aspen, Colorado, a source told Us Weekly that they are “genuinely friends right now” and that they “are not getting back together or rekindling their romance.”
