It’s a tough time to be a young adult.

Entry-level jobs are down. The prospect of buying a home feels like a pipe dream. And loneliness and social isolation are ever more pervasive.

I’m a New York Times reporter who covers people roughly 35 and under. (I’m 27 myself.) And I want to know what’s on your mind.

I’m interested in hearing from young adults in New York City and the surrounding region. But feel free to respond if you’re a parent, career coach, counselor or anyone else who spends time with young people — or if you’re a young person outside of the area and would like to share something.
