The “Summer House” spinoff, “In the City,” picked cameras back up after Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s bombshell relationship announcement.

Bravo exec Frances Berwick confirmed to The Ankleron Wednesday that the upcoming series shot “a new scene” to cover the fallout of the shock romance.

“’In the City,’ which launches in a couple of weeks — you’ll see in the first episode we have a new scene that we shot with a couple of the cast members,” Berwick said.

“So, we did pick it up there, but we just didn’t feel like that was the right thing to do on ‘Summer House,’” she continued.

Berwick also said the network wanted to prioritize “the emotional well-being” of the cast and “didn’t think it was right” to immediately pick cameras back up on “Summer House.”

Instead, production “did take a beat” before including the Wilson-Batula storyline in the spinoff, Berwick noted.

“And that was obviously in the reunion last week; as everyone now knows, we taped the reunion last week,” she added.

“In the City” filmed last fall and is premiering Wednesday, May 19 after the “Summer House” Season 10 finale.

The cast of the spinoff includes current “Summer House” stars Batula, Kyle Cooke and Lindsay Hubbard, alums Danielle Olivera and Andrea Denver, and multiple new cast members.

Batula, 34, and Cooke, 43, were still married when they filmed “In the City.” The pair announced their split in January after four years of marriage.

Over two months later, Batula confirmed her romance with Wilson, who used to date her former bestie Ciara Miller.

Wilson, 31, and Miller, 30, are not cast members on “In the City,” though Wilson appears in the trailer in a flirty scene with Batula.

In a joint statement on March 31, Wilson and Batula confessed their romantic relationship “grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship” and insisted it “was never our intention to purposely hide anything.”

Wilson and Batula faced off with their co-stars in the Season 10 reunion that filmed in New York City last Thursday.

In leaked audio from the sit-down hosted by Andy Cohen, Miller called Batula a “f–king snake” for dating Wilson, while Cooke called Wilson a “schmuck.”

Batula vehemently defended her romance with Wilson, who stayed mostly quiet in the leaked audio.
