Body-camera footage captures the quiet arrest of a 43-year-old Reedley man accused of gunning down his ex-wife and her new partner in a shocking Central California double homicide.
Authorities say Miguel Angel Saldana Garcia was taken into custody after officers found him casually walking down the street. Video captured the arrest shortly after 5 p.m., not long after the deadly shooting unfolded at a home on Brent Avenue in Dinuba. “Dinuba Police Department received multiple 911 calls from a residence coming from the 1200 block of Brent Avenue, and when officers responded, they located a male and a female adult, both on the driveway with multiple gunshot wounds,” Police Chief Abel Iriarte told ABC 30.
The victims, 51-year-old Jose Medina and 39-year-old Irai Torres, were found in the driveway and pronounced dead on the spot. Investigators said the pair leave behind several children.

According to police, Saldana fled immediately after the shooting in a white truck.
That vehicle was later tracked to Reedley, where detectives uncovered that he had switched cars. A surveillance team then followed his movements back toward Dinuba.
Saldana was ultimately arrested outside the Dinuba Police Department.
Authorities have not confirmed whether he was trying to surrender at the time.
Investigators say both vehicles connected to the case have been recovered, and they believe the weapon used in the killings is now in police custody.

Search warrants are also being executed at Saldana’s home in Reedley.
Police revealed that Saldana and Torres shared at least one child.
As the investigation continues, the Dinuba Unified School District is stepping in to support students affected by the tragedy, noting that one victim was related to a student.
“It is a tragic loss. There is just no doubt about it, and it takes time to process, and being respectful of family members and being here to support is what we are all about,” Superintendent Marti Kochevar told ABC 30.
