What a dope!
Head-shaking footage captured the moment a Texas numbskull allegedly dropped a bag of weed on the floor while heading to court to face an outstanding arrest warrant for theft.
Gerald Earl, 38, was caught on wild surveillance video waiting to pass through a security checkpoint at the Harris County Criminal Justice Center in Houston Friday morning when a small baggie suddenly fell from his loosely fitted striped pants after he repeatedly shook them.

The buffoon, unaware his alleged stash bag had dropped, kept moving through the security line.
“Dropped your dope – at the courthouse,” the Harris County Constable’s Office said in a X post Tuesday, along with the 12-second clip.
“We will catch you. A man was arrested after a baggie fell from his pants at a security checkpoint. Our team screens more than 2 million people annually for contraband such as drugs and weapons at the downtown courthouse complex.”

Earl was allegedly caught with up to 4 ounces of pot and slapped with misdemeanor marijuana possession, court records show.
The accused dopehead, who has a lengthy criminal history, was already wanted by police when he was cuffed for allegedly swiping a slew of household items just days earlier, according to the complaint.

Prosecutors said Earl made off with a shaving kit, nine bottles of body wash, two body creams, one box of trash bags, three packs of body wipes, and five sets of silverware on April 10.
He was charged with misdemeanor theft.

Earl was freed Sunday after posting a $100 bond.
He is due back in court Friday.
