JD Vance, Jake Paul chat it up during crushing US women’s hockey win over Finland

Vice President JD Vance took in the US women’s Olympic hockey match alongside social media star and pro boxing newbie Jake Paul.

The pair of US patriots watched the women’s national team cruise to a 5-0 win over Finland in the preliminary round of the Winter Olympics in Milan on Saturday.

Vance, HIS wife Usha and their children entered the arena after the first intermission and were soon joined by Paul whose fiancé, Jutta Leerdam, is a speedskater for the Netherlands.

The veep was seen broadly smiling and chatting up Paul who just last month had his jaw broken during a Netflix bout against towering former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

In one photo, the two put up their fists and struck a pose apparently joking around with a child in attendance.

Vance’s daughter and youngest child, Mirabel, sat with her dad and cheered on the women’s team as they easily skated to victory.

Both the vice president and his wife received a harsh greeting from the Olympic crowd at Friday’s opening ceremony — getting a round of boos from the crowd when they were spotted on the jumbotron of the San Siro soccer stadium.

Also in the VIP section were 2010 Olympic US figure skating gold medalist Evan Lysacek, and Hall of Fame hockey twin sisters Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson and Monique Lamoureux-Morando, who helped the US win gold at the 2018 Winter Games.

The US women’s hockey team is off to a 2-0 start to the preliminary round, previously beating Czechia and outscoring its opponents 9-1.

“I love how it’s sort of, everybody’s got a hand in the win, right? Whether it’s passing off shifts, finding the back of the net, making the right pass, the right play,” star forward Hilary Knight told NBC News. “It’s really a selflessness that we’ve got in that room, and really proud of the way this group showing up so far.”
