Pornhub reveals number of women watching X-rated videos is surging:
They’re down to puck.
Thanks to the rampant success of the spicy hockey-romance TV series, “Heated Rivalry,” aroused fans are seeking out hockey-inspired smut more than ever.
Clearly, slap shots are the new money shot as Pornhub searches for “hockey” have climbed as high as +617%, averaging +309% since the show’s November 28 premiere, according to the raunchy site.
And it’s the female viewers who can’t get enough of the NSFW content.
The site found that female searches for hockey were up by 273%, compared to 148% among male viewers.
The following hockey-related search terms are right now the most popular on the site.

“Pornhub’s insights often reflect what’s resonating in the broader culture,” Alex Kekesi, VP of Brand & Community at Pornhub, told The Post.
“When a major pop culture moment sparks conversation, we often see that interest reflected in the search behaviors of our users across the platform,” he continued.
For the uninitiated, “Heated Rivalry,” an HBO Max series based on a novel by Rachel Reid, follows Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie), two pro hockey players who engage in a years-long love affair off the ice.
The show has gone viral for its emotional complexity and extended NSFW sex scenes that have inspired a “feral fanbase,” particularly among women.
“Right from the jump, [series creator Jacob Tierney] told me this is gonna have a lot of sex in it because that’s important,” Reid told Slate in an interview. “It’s not going to fade to black, and it’s not going to be ‘the suggestion of a blowjob’ … He’s like, ‘It’s going to be as explicit as we can possibly go.’”
Interestingly, Season 1 came dangerously close to being PG13.
Tierney told Slate that when he was first shopping his adaptation, various Hollywood execs suggested waiting until Season 2 to include sex scenes.
“I was like, ‘What are you f–king talking about?!’ ” Tierney told the outlet. “These books are porn. You think that the audience is here despite that? They’re here for this. This is what they want.”
He added, “I’m glad I trusted my gut. I think that, had I followed the advice or the notes I was getting, I would have made a show that would not have pleased people, especially that core fan base. I certainly don’t think we would have gotten the reaction that we’re currently getting.”
A release date for “Heated Rivalry” Season 2 has yet to be announced, but it seems fans will be edging themselves with X-rated hockey-related content until then.
