Buxom influencer says she got coveted O-1B visa for these two reasons: ‘Extraordinary talent’

Her cup size is officially O-1B.

Chesty Canadian influencer Julia Ain showed off her best assets while applying for a coveted US visa meant for artists with “extraordinary ability” — a video of herself housing pastrami in a low-cut shirt while asking a sultry question.

Her application was granted — making her one of about 20,000 people allowed into the country in 2024 on a O-1B visa.

“Yes, that video was submitted to the US government,” 25-year-old Ain proudly told the Times of London. “Maybe my extraordinary talent is just that I have big boobs.”

Ain is not the only social media siren to slip into the country on the O-1B — a visa initially conceived as a way to keep prolific talent John Lennon from being deported to England in 1972, and officially adopted in 1990 to bring foreigners “with an extraordinary ability in the arts” into the US.

But the last 10 years have seen fewer generational artistic talents applying for the O-1B, and more and more people who shake their stuff on the internet — namely, OnlyFans stars and other scantily clad creators.

“This space has evolved with the times,” said immigration lawyer Michael Wildes, whose father helped keep Lennon in the country and himself secured O-1 visas for the likes of Sinead O’Connor and Boy George.

“We had these iconic clients and then over time we started doing old visas for e-sports players and now influencers and OnlyFans and other kinds of electronic stars,” Wildes told The Times.

Wildes is one of numerous immigration lawyers who have reported an uptick in content creators coming to them for help with an O-1B — with some estimating as much as 65% of clients these days express their extraordinary artistic urges by stripping half naked on the internet.

In her busty video submitted to immigration officials, Ain holds a pastrami sandwich with a blonde pal at Katz’s Deli, as the pair ask, “Would you rather: one night with us or a year’s supply of this sandwich?”

But it takes more than a big pair of cans to get an O-1B — applicants who hope to get into the US must demonstrate their talent by meeting a series of criteria, including showing they have national renown, high earnings in their field, or have a history of critical or commercial success.

“I have worked hard to get this visa,” said Ain, whose pastrami video has fetched more than 11 million views, 226,000 likes, and 58,000 comments.

Online interaction like that can be used to demonstrate renown and success to US immigration officials — not to mention the earnings statements she had to submit with her application to show commercial success.

“I know it sounds insane. But it literally was meant as proof … people are watching,” said Ain, who described her online presence as a “funny Jewish girl with big boobs.”

Many of her videos show her galivanting around New York City with her cleavage afloat, as she hangs out with fellow “top-heavy” friends as part of a creator group self-dubbed “Milk Mansion.”

“It’s meant to be a joke. It’s not serious,” said Ain, whose application was nevertheless dead serious, and included at least two dozen videos, as well as follower counts, income statements, and recommendation letters from influencers and social media platforms she’s worked with.

Ain also had to explain why she thought she should be in the states — and argued that she wanted to be in New York because it was “the hub of Jewish culture” and that her self-satirizing humor was intended to bring levity as antisemitism grew around the world.

“Whether you personally think that I’m untalented does not matter because all of the numbers and everything prove that I’m somebody who is bringing revenue into the US economy,” she said.

And immigration lawyers like Wildes agree, explaining people like Ain aren’t let into the country willy-nilly, but need to demonstrate that they are demonstrably unique in their field.

“They have to show how they are shoulders apart from other people similarly situated with a sustained level of achievement,” Wildes said.

It remains unclear just how many O-1B visas have been awarded to content creators. The roughly 20,000 granted in 2024 when Ain received hers also included recipients of an O-1A, which is intended for outstanding talents in “business, science, education or athletics.”

Both visas typically need to be renewed after three years.

Wildes expected “hundreds, not thousands” of the recipients these days are content creators like Ain — and said they’re no joke, but are some of the rising talents in a new world of media.

“It’s not just people doing sexy things or new things,” he told the Times. “It’s creating industry and keeping America one step ahead of everybody else in the world of entertainment and culture.”
