President Donald Trump’s address to the nation attracted significant betting interest on Wednesday night.
More than $760,000 of bets were placed on words Trump would say during his address on Kalshi about 10 minutes before he was scheduled to speak. Significant activity was also recorded on Polymarket.

1. What will Trump say during the speech?
Trump’s second term has been marred by controversy. Lately, the president has tried to fight back against Democratic momentum on affordability issues.
Kalshi estimated a 78% probability that Trump will speak about affordability during the speech.
2. Will Trump address his America First crowd?
Trump’s base has been split over his foreign policy, with MAGA-faithful aligning with Trump’s efforts to threaten Venezuela’s Nicolas Maduro and America First Republicans like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) criticizing Trump.
Kalshi said there is a 57% probability that Trump says “America First” at some point during the speech.
3. Will Trump escalate his fight with Venezuela
Experts have warned that Trump has been inching toward war with Venezuela with his strikes against alleged drug boats.
Polymarket said there was a 90% probability that Trump would mention Venezuela during his address.
