EXCLUSIVE: Industry veteran Kerry Kohansky-Roberts has joined Scott Free Productions as Executive Vice President in the company’s film department. She will report to Film President Michael Pruss.

Kohansky-Roberts most recently served as a producer at Anonymous Content, where she produced numerous projects, including Christy starring Sydney Sweeney and directed by David Michôd; and Foe starring Saoirse Ronan, Paul Mescal, and Aaron Pierre, and directed by Garth Davis. She also recently produced the award-winning Netflix limited series Boy Swallows Universe, a collaboration with Joel Edgerton, Brouhaha, and Chapter One.

Kohansky-Roberts joins Scott Free’s film division has very robust year . On the back of this summer’s Apple TV+ hit Echo Valley – starring Julianne Moore and Sydney Sweeney – the company is preparing for the December releases of Kristen Stewart’s awards-buzz directorial debut The Chronology of Water, starring Imogen Poots, and action-comedy TRAP HOUSE from Amazon and Aura Films, starring Dave Bautista, Bobby Canavale and Jack Champion.
“I chose entertainment as a career because of specific movies Ridley has made. To now work with and for him is humbling,” says Kohansky-Roberts. “To get to do it along with the leadership at Scott Free with people like Mike and Justin is really an honor I don’t take for granted.”
2026 is looking to be equally busy starting with Ridley Scott’s The Dog Stars starring Jacob Elordi, Josh Brolin, Margaret Qualley and Guy Pearce as well as production on The Rideers, commencing in February for A24 directed by Edward Berger, scripted by Dave Kajganich and starring Brad Pitt.
