A 19-year-old college student from New Jersey mysteriously vanished just minutes from his South Carolina home on Halloween, according to authorities and reports.

Owen Tillman Kenney was last spotted by his friends in the area of King Street and Burns Lane at 2 a.m. on Friday, the Charleston Police Department said in a news release.

He was mere “minutes from his house but never made it home,” his family posted in a statement on Facebook.

The College of Charleston student was reported missing on Saturday, the school posted in a notice.

Detectives last captured him in footage walking alone onto the Ravenel Bridge pedestrian walkway shortly after 3 a.m. Friday, the police department said in an update on Tuesday.

His phone last pinged from the bridge at that time, cops noted.

Police previously said Kenney was last seen in a green-and-white Boston Celtics Halloween costume, but footage from the bridge captured him in a black hooded jacket, light-colored pants, and black Nike sneakers with white soles, according to pictures released by police.

He also has tattoos on his right forearm, left shoulder, left shin, and knee, his family said.

Kenney’s devastated roommates attempted to track his location, but his phone went dead at the time of his disappearance, WCBD reported.

“It’s honestly really eerie on campus right now, I would say we’re definitely feeling the distance here,” College of Charleston student Holland Cartmill told the outlet.

“I’ve never seen anything like this before. It’s definitely scary. And I just really pray that this doesn’t happen again,” Cartmill said.

Kenney was a resident of Tinton Falls, New Jersey, and graduated from Red Bank Catholic High School in Red Bank, The Monmouth Journal reported.

“Please share and pray for his safe return,” the high school posted on Facebook.

Authorities have since deployed a slew of resources to locate the missing student, including an Underwater Recovery Team, Harbor Patrol, K9 units, and an Unmanned Aerial System Team.

“We would like to thank the countless people who have been looking for Owen and sharing his photos on social media,” police wrote in a statement Tuesday.

“While we recognize the tremendous public interest and concern surrounding this case, it is important to remember that at the heart of this investigation is a family searching for their loved one,” cops said.
