If you’ve got it, flaunt it.
Teyana Taylor was the talk of Thursday night’s Time100 Next 2025 event, where she walked the red carpet in a daring sheer dress from Haider Ackermann’s Tom Ford spring 2026 collection.
More like a skirt than a gown, the look — which just walked the runway last month — was held up by a single, skinny strap that traveled up the center of Taylor’s torso and circled her neck, almost like a backwards G-string for the body.
Taylor’s actual thong showed through the see-through fabric and peek out from above the low-slung skirt.

On top, the performer wore a black blazer left open to showcase her killer abs.
Taylor has been traveling around the world recently to promote her latest project, Hulu’s “All’s Fair.”
And while she’s pulled out all the sartorial stops for each and every appearance, last night’s look was the most revealing by far.
It seems as though the “naked dress” that took over the red carpets of the 2010s — complete with strategically placed embellishments and top-to-toe mesh — has recently been replaced by a next-level alternative.

Taylor isn’t the only one walking the red carpet in little more than a full-body thong, though.
Earlier this week, Ella Emhoff attended the WSJ Innovator Awards in a barely-there lace Helsa gown, Sydney Sweeney hit the red carpet at Variety’s Power of Women event wearing a sheer, shimmering Christian Cowan corset dress and Kristen Stewart selected a see-through lace look by Rhea Costa for a premiere in Los Angeles.
And don’t expect Dakota Johnson — perhaps the No. 1 fan of the trend — to ditch her daring dresses anytime soon.
Asked about criticism of her signature revealing styles, Johnson told Vogue Germany, “I really don’t care … If I find a beautiful dress that I feel comfortable in, of course I want to wear it!”
