Fremantle Changes Polish Boss
Julita Brutus is the new Managing Director of Fremantle Poland following the departure of Piotr Radzymiński after nearly 25 years at the helm. Brutus had joined the company a decade ago as Sales & Acquisitions Manager and worked her way up, being promoted to Head of Sales and Development in 2019. Her credits include overseeing Netflix series Love Never Lies and the upcoming local version of Love is Blind. She will report to Georgette Schlick, Fremantle’s CEO for Northern Europe. With over 10 years at Fremantle, Julita has the knowledge and experience to take on this position, and I look forward to working more closely with her as we focus on further growth of Fremantle in Poland and broaden our portfolio,” said Schlick. Radzymiński, who has served as Managing Director since 2001, was known for show such as Idol, the long-running Between Friends, Farmer Wants a Wife, Family Feud, Poland’s Got Talent and Rhythm+Flow.
Channel 4 & YouTube Exploring “Crash For Cash” Scams
Channel 4 and YouTube are tying on a documentary that explores the mysterious world of “Crash for Cash” car insurance scams. Investigative journalist Mike Okay is leading Crash for Cash: Uncovered, in which he is brought into the scammers’ world by mysterious gang boss Abdul and learns just how deep the operation goes. The show comes from Ben Zand’s indie Zandland and is one of a number Channel 4 is commissioning straight to YouTube as it looks to leverage the platform. “”Crash for Cash: Uncovered is exactly the type of journalism we champion at Zandland — bold, access-driven and right at the heart of the story,” said Zand.

The 29th edition will include a mix of first time and established names exploring the diversity of British-Jewish Life through movies. In June, UK Jewish Film launched its Changing Perspectives Film Fund, which will see the production of four new short narrative films over the next six months, with a particular focus on teenage protagonists, and with a view to educational as well as festival programming. The festival takes place across cinemas both in and outside of London from next month.
