Three-time Oscar nominee and former Sony Pictures Entertainment Co-Chairperson Amy Pascal will be receiving The Producers Guild of America’s David O. Selznick Achievement Award at the Feb. 28, 2026 PGA Awards ceremony at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.

The news comes in the wake of Pascal being named as a producer with David Heyman on Amazon MGM Studio’s next Jame Bond movie. This season she has the Noah Baumbach directed, George Clooney and Adam Sandler starring Jay Kelly on Netflix. She’s also producing the fourth Tom Holland Spider-Man movie, Spider Man: Brand New Day due out next July, Greta Gerwig’s The Chronicles of Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew, as well as Project Hail Mary, directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller which will hit theaters in the spring.  The PGA’s David O. Selznick Award recognizes a producer or producing team for their extraordinary body of work in motion pictures. Pascal will join a distinguished line of past recipients which includes Steven Spielberg, Barbara Broccoli, Billy Wilder, Frank Marshall, Kathleen Kennedy, Mary Parent, Tom Cruise, Martin Scorsese, and most recently Chris Meledandri.

Pascal served as the Chairperson of the Motion Pictures Group of Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) and Co-Chairperson of SPE, including Sony Pictures Television, from 2006 until 2015. Under her watch, she shepherded the Spider-Man franchise with Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield, as well as Casino Royal, Skyfall, 2012, Superbad, The DaVinci Code, Moneyball, The Social Network, Hitch, Big Daddy, Zero Dark Thirty, Captain Phillips and American Hustle.

She founded Pascal Pictures in 2015 and has produced the trilogy of Spider-Man movies, Greta Gerwig’s Academy Award Best Picture nominated Little Women, Steven Spielberg’s Academy Award-nominated The Post, Aaron Sorkin’s Academy Award-nominated directorial debut, Molly’s Game, and the Academy Award-winning animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse as well as its sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. She produced Spider-Man: No Way Home which at $1.92 billion worldwide is the 8th highest grossing movie ever.

“Amy exemplifies the essential qualities of a truly great producer: impeccable taste, a keen eye for extraordinary talent both in front of and behind the camera, and an unwavering determination fueled by deep passion,” said PGA Presidents Donald De Line and Stephanie Allain. “Her films are masterclasses in storytelling – seamlessly blending compelling entertainment with thought-provoking ideas – and many have become lasting cultural touchstones.”

“Producing has been the great joy of my professional life, and to receive this honor from the Producers Guild, among so many legendary peers I deeply respect, is incredibly moving,” said Pascal. “David O. Selznick was the kind of producer who believed in ambition, imagination, and taking risks, and to be awarded in his name is a reminder that producing isn’t just about making movies – it’s about championing bold stories and carrying forward a legacy of daring, visionary filmmaking. I’m so grateful for the PGA and its commitment to protecting and celebrating the craft of producing, and for the extraordinary collaborators, colleagues and mentors who’ve supported me on this journey.”
