EXCLUSIVE: Austin Nasso, a former Microsoft software engineer turned professional stand-up and impressionist, is set to release his debut comedy special, Impressionable Youth, on YouTube on November 6th.
With more than two million followers across social media platforms, Nasso broke out online with his impressions of high-profile political figures and tech moguls including Donald Trump, Joe Biden, Elon Musk, and Mark Zuckerberg — a talent that earned him recurring guest performer spots on The Howard Stern Show.
Nasso’s upcoming special showcases a range of these impressions alongside his takes on modern-day tech culture. Drawing from his years inside Microsoft, Nasso delivers portrayals of tech CEOs that feel less like caricature and more like surgical roasts from someone who’s read through the Slack channels.
Performing stand-up since the age of 15, Nasso first discovered his knack for impressions while mimicking SpongeBob and Shrek characters as a mustachioed, 160-pound 10-year-old boy. When he’s not performing solo, he tours internationally with fellow ex-techies Jesse Warren and Nikita Oster as part of Tech Roast Show, a live comedy series that live-roasts willing participants.
