HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Many teachers across the Tennessee Valley go above and beyond for their students, and we want to recognize them — with our Education Honor Roll!
For this week’s Educator Honor Roll, we went to Westminster Christian Academy to visit with Sharon Livingston.
Her peers say that she is an exceptional educator whose impact extends far beyond the classroom. Her ability to make history comes alive for her students and is a testament to her dedication and creativity.
The person who nominated Livingston says that she goes above and beyond traditional teaching methods by infusing her lessons with engaging activities and dynamic presentations, ensuring that historical events are not just learned but experienced.
Livingston’s commitment to her students is evident in her willingness to volunteer her time for the middle school play, showcasing her dedication to their overall growth and development. By contributing to extracurricular activities, she fosters a supportive and enriched learning environment, encouraging students to explore their interests and talents beyond the confines of the classroom.
