Smells like queen spirit?
Meghan Markle just released her latest offerings from her As Ever brand: scented candles.
So far, there are just two in the collection: Signature Candle No. 519 and No. 084. And both of the numerically named votives nod to dates that hold a special meaning for the Duchess of Sussex.

Signature Candle No. 084 ($64) is named for the duchess’ birthday, August 4, and is the scent that warms her family’s California home.
Per the product description: “Hand-poured into our elegant ceramic vessel, No. 084 fills the air with fragrant sweet wood, delicate florals, and California wildflowers, for an elevated coziness that feels like a hug.”
Fans of water lotus, sandalwood and California poppy will gravitate towards this grounding aroma.

More intriguing, however, is Signature Candle No. 519 ($64), which reflects not only the date but also the scent of Markle’s royal wedding to Prince Harry on May 19, 2018. It’s a modern and elegant fragrance described by the brand as “love at first light.”
Incorporating elements of Moroccan mint, cardamom and tea leaves, this candle “evokes the freshness of a day in the English countryside, a long walk in the garden, and a spirit of happiness that is hard to resist,” per As Ever.
At $64 each, these candles cost quite a bit more than some of Markle’s other beauty essentials — though considering her beloved Diptyque votives retail for $78 a pop, perhaps they’re a relative bargain.

Plus, let’s be honest: They make a great housewarming gift, especially when accompanied in a gorgeous handwoven basket with the brand’s Fruit Spread Trio ($36) or Hot Toddy Mulling Spice Kit ($16).
Which is all to say, Meghan, you’re welcome to come over any time.
(Feel free to bring a bottle of As Ever wine, too.)
