A 28-year-old child care worker and babysitter was recently arrested for possession of child pornography and may have multiple victims in the Los Angeles area, police said Monday.
Las Vegas resident Miguel Adrian Gonzalez was arrested and booked on the child pornography charges on Oct. 24, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Gonzalez has worked at multiple schools, camps and after-school programs throughout the greater L.A. area.
“Investigators have identified at least one minor victim within Los Angeles County and believe there may be additional victims,” police said.
Gonzalez was described as a Hispanic man standing 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 115 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Juvenile Division detectives and Homeland Security Investigations Ventura released a booking photo, believing there may be unreported victims.
Gonzalez is believed to have targeted male minors and remains in custody pending arraignment, police said.
Anyone with information that could lead to the identification of victims or witnesses was urged to contact the LAPD’s Juvenile Division via email at [email protected] or HSI Ventura at [email protected].
