(NEXSTAR) – We get it. You don’t feel like cooking, or doing dishes, or even socializing with your extended family on Thanksgiving Day. But you can’t drive up to just any restaurant on Nov. 27 and expect the staff to cater to your holiday hunger.
While some restaurant chains have famously broad hours (Waffle House, for instance, operates every day of the year, weather permitting), many other popular eateries temporarily close on major holidays like Thanksgiving or Christmas, giving staff a much-needed break to cook, do dishes, and socialize with their own extended families (or not), if they so choose.
Here’s a non-comprehensive look at many of the popular chain restaurants that will be closed, or open, this coming Thanksgiving.
