Welcome to Late Night Roundup, a rundown of the previous night’s highlights that lets you sleep — and lets us get paid to watch comedy. Here are the 50 best movies on Netflix right now.

Major Interference

Construction began Monday on the new ballroom for the White House, where the East Wing was demolished, despite President Trump saying construction would not interfere with the existing building.

On Tuesday, Stephen Colbert said it took Trump just nine months into his term to go “‘Hulk smash’ on the White House.”

“That is it. We are not giving him the security deposit back.” — STEPHEN COLBERT

“Last time, it took him at least four years to bring a demo crew to the Capitol.” — STEPHEN COLBERT, referring to the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack

“At this point, should we even believe this is going to end up being a ballroom? It could just as easily end up being a combination Pizza Hut-Taco Bell.” — STEPHEN COLBERT

The Punchiest Punchlines (White House Ballroom Edition)

“The government shutdown is now in its third week. Countless federal employees aren’t being paid, food stamps will run out soon, and there’s no end in sight. But not to worry: President Trump is working day and night to build a ballroom.” — MICHAEL KOSTA

“It’s exactly what you voted for, coal miners in Pennsylvania.” — MICHAEL KOSTA

“Who’s his general contractor, Bin Laden and Sons?” — MICHAEL KOSTA

“For Trump, knocking down walls is easy; it’s building them that’s hard.” — JIMMY FALLON

“Does he really need a ballroom attached to his home? I mean, it would be good to have one room where Barron didn’t have to crouch, but still.” — MICHAEL KOSTA

The Bits Worth Watching

A fake audience member interrupted Seth Meyers on Tuesday’s “Late Night” to counter his negative comments about Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
