Have you seen Pennywise the Clown?

Last Monday, it was installed on the roof of a West Hollywood bus stop at the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Hancock Avenue. Then on Thursday, it vanished.

Three men were reportedly seen removing it at around 9:58 p.m. on Thursday, according to the WeHo Times.

“I was walking past on my way to work when I saw them take it,” a witness told the outlet. “Exactly 9:58 p.m.—three guys, aged 25 to 35 approximately. One boosted the other on top, where he proceeded to rip it off and leave with it.”

Meanwhile, HBO Max posted a missing poster on its Instagram account.

“We already checked the sewers,” the caption read.

The poster warns the public to keep the killer clown “away from children” and to “not look directly in the mouth.” The gender is listed as “none,” and the age is “ancient.”

Pennywise is the killer clown in the 1986 Stephen King novel “It,” which has been adapted into a film under the same name. The clown also appears in the HBO Max show “It: Welcome to Derry.”

The studio has offered a reward for information leading to Pennywise’s disappearance. Right now, there’s no word as to how much is being offered and if this is a publicity stunt.
