PHOENIX — Funky Frida’s, a Mexican cantina, opened Wednesday in Arcadia, replacing the Little O’s cafe that used to be located in the space.
The restaurant, located at 4910 E. Indian School Road, was created by the same team behind O.H.S.O. Brewery, Little O’s and The Starving Artist. It was described on its website as The Starving Artist’s “colorful cousin” due to the eatery being themed after Mexican painter Frida Kahlo.
O.H.S.O. Brewery and Distillery announced that it would be closing Little O’s Arcadia to remodel the space over the summer into a brand-new concept that would be more comfortable year-round, better serve the neighborhood and was inspired by their roots.
