Sky Sets Nick Cave DocumentarySky is set to examine the creative work and enduring influence of Nick Cave through the eyes of some of his collaborators over the years. One-off documentary, The Veiled World of Nick Cave (working title), will feature contributions from singer Florence Welch, filmmaker Wim Wenders, and writer Irvine Welsh. “Nick Cave is one of those incomparable artists whose power of storytelling knows no bounds,” said Phil Edgar-Jones, Sky’s unscripted originals chief. The film is made by Supercollider, the Zinc Media Group production company behind Live Aid At 40. Mike Christie (New Order: Decades) serves as director and Seb Barfield as producer. The commissioning editor for Sky is Barbara Lee and the executive producer for Sky Studios is Charlotte Mardon-Heath.

BBC Reboots ‘The Celebrity Apprentice‘The BBC has confirmed it is dusting off The Celebrity Apprentice for the first time in six years. The two-part series will screen during the festive period this year on BBC One and iPlayer, ahead of the format celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2026. Produced by Fremantle-owned Naked, Lord Sugar will be flanked by trusted advisors, Baroness Brady and Mike Soutar, with celebrities creating a product that will be sold in shops, with proceeds going to BBC Children in Need. The Celebrity Apprentice: Christmas Specials were commissioned by Kalpna Patel-Knight, head of entertainment at the BBC. The series is a co-production between Naked and MGM Alternative UK. Paul Broadbent and Naomi Banat are the executive producers; Francesca Maudslay is consultant executive producer and Rachael Hankinson is the production executive. For MGM Alternative UK, Dom Bird is executive producer. Sarah Clay is commissioning editor for the BBC. The show is produced and distributed pursuant to a licence from Amazon MGM Studios Distribution.
