EXCLUSIVE: Actor Jon Cryer has inked with Artists First for management.
Rising to fame with his role as the endearing misfit Duckie in John Hughes’ Pretty in Pink, Cryer is otherwise best known for starring alongside Charlie Sheen and Angus T. Jones in CBS’s hit sitcom Two and a Half Men, for which he earned two Emmys. The show wrapped its run after 12 seasons, putting it in the record books as one of the longest-running multi-camera sitcoms in TV history.
Since then, Cryer released his first book So That Happened, which made the New York Times Best Seller list in its first week of release. He’s also ticked off an item on his bucket list by starring as Lex Luthor in The CW’s Arrowverse shows.
Recently, Cryer also exec produced and starred in NBC’s Extended Family, with additional appearances in the coming-of-age Sundance comedy Big Time Adolescence, Andrew McCarthy’s Hulu Brat Pack doc Brats, and Netflix’s much-discussed two-parter Aka Charlie Sheen.
Cryer co-founded the production company Discount Sushi with his wife, award-winning producer, journalist and host Lisa Joyner. Currently in active development on a full slate of scripted and unscripted series, features and podcasts, they most recently produced the Webby-honored, Ambie-nominated and Gracie-winning podcast The Man Who Calculated Death as well as the Iran-Contra pod Lawyers, Guns, & Money.
Cryer continues to be represented by UTA and attorney David Fox.
