D4vd’s former Hollywood Hills landlord has hired their own private investigator to probe the death of a 15-year-old girl who was found dismembered in the rapper’s impounded Tesla last month, according to a report.
Property owner Mladen Trifunovic hired a private investigator after the mansion D4vd had been renting for $20,000 a month was raided by cops investigating the death of teen runaway Celeste Rivas Hernandez, TMZ reported.
The Tesla registered to the “Romantic Homicide” singer had been abandoned near the home before it was moved to an impound lot — where the rotting body of the missing teen was found hidden in its trunk.
A suspect in the Rivas’ death has still not been named six weeks after she was found badly decomposed on Sept 8.
“Our private investigator’s work is still ongoing, and I don’t have any findings to share at this time. It’s still early in the process, and I want to respect both the LAPD’s investigation and the memory of the victim,” Trifunovic told the outlet.
Movers were spotted hauling the alt rapper’s belongings out of the crash pad shortly after cops raided it on Sept. 17, the Daily Mail reported.
He suddenly opted out of his lease for the sprawling $4 million mansion in the wake of the police investigation, according to reports.
D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, has been the subject of much online speculation since the teen’s body was found in his car.
Rivas’ mother previously revealed to TMZ that her daughter, who went missing in 2024 when she was only 13, had been dating someone named David.
Internet sleuths have also uncovered footage from a past livestream that showed the rapper speaking of grooming a girl who is identified as Celeste.
Users have also discovered an eerie, unreleased song from the rapper entitled “Celeste.”
The 20-year-old Queens-born and LA-based musician has since canceled his upcoming tour for the rollout of his album “Withered.”
He also recently transferred the deed of his two Texas homes to his mother after one of the properties was the victim of a swatting incident.
Rivas was buried at Queen of Heaven Cemetery and Mortuary in Rowland Heights during a private afternoon ceremony about 50 miles from her family home in Lake Elsinore.
No charges have been filed in the case so far.
