Universal Studios Hollywood is set to welcome guests to a winter celebration across the theme park, including Grinchmas, Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and seasonal enhancements to the Mushroom Kingdom at Super Nintendo World.
Grinchmas returns as Universal Plaza is transformed into Who-ville, the center of which is a 65-foot Grinchmas tree. The scene will include nightly tree-lighting ceremonies, complete with a flurry of cascading snow. Also expect playful themed performances and interactive activities.
Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will feature twinkling lights, magical garlands and cheerful wreaths, plus traditional holiday a cappella performances from The Frog Choir.
Nightfall will bring The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle to life with a giant light projection show accompanied by a medley of music from the film series.
The Mushroom Kingdom at Super Nintendo World will be front-loaded with an Instagram-ready scene: two cheerful snowmen, one sporting Mario’s signature red hat and scarf, the other donning Luigi’s green cap and scarf, alongside a sparkling tree crowned with a Super Star.
In addition to festive merch, guests will have a chance to collect seasonal digital stamps when using their interactive Power-Up Bands. From December 1 through February 28, the exclusive Winter Wonder stamp will be available. A festive “Holiday Party” stamp will be available in the month of December only.
The Holiday cheer at Universal Studios Hollywood is included with theme park admission and runs daily from Monday, November 24, 2025, through Sunday, January 4, 2026.
The park’s current seasonal celebration, Halloween Horror Nights, runs through November 2.
