Rainfall totals thus far show 4 inches or more at multiple Southern California sites

The rain may not be done quite yet, but some parts of Southern California have already gotten thoroughly drenched.

As reported by the National Weather Service, Cogswell Dam in Los Angeles County received 5 inches of rain thus far.

Other sites topping the 4-inch mark as of 11 a.m. Tuesday include:

  • Opids Camp in L.A. County, which received 4.58 inches
  • Rose Valley in Ventura County, which received 4.21 inches
  • Crystal Lake in L.A. County, which received 4.13 inches

In the Los Angeles coastal and metropolitan area, Bel Air leads with 2.02 inches, closely followed by Beverly Hills’ 2 inches.

Additionally, Topanga got 3.43 inches, while Sepulveda Canyon got 3.25 inches.

In the San Fernando Valley, four location received between 2 and 4 inches of rain:

  • Woodland Hills, 3.28 inches
  • La Canada Flintridge, 2.28 inches
  • Burbank, 2.27 inches
  • Porter Ranch, 2.06 inches

Multiple mountainous areas in Ventura County received between 2 and 4 inches:

  • Nordhoff Ridge, 3.94 inches
  • Rose Valley, 3.83 inches
  • Ortega Hill, 3.82 inches
  • Matilija Dam, 3.09 inches
  • White Ledge Peak, 2.48 inches
  • Matilija Canyon, 2.36 inches
  • Old Man Mountain, 2.2 inches
