A luxury timepiece often tells more than just time. It weaves a story of precision, artistry, and heritage. For Alberto Petochi, U.S. partner of ChronoVision, a watch accessories company, that story continues long after the watch leaves the store.

Understanding the intricacies of watch care, Petochi’s mission has been to ensure that every collector, from seasoned enthusiasts to first-time buyers, can protect and preserve their investment with accessories crafted to the same uncompromising standards as their watches. Designed and manufactured entirely in Germany, ChronoVision’s products are crafted to embody a level of refinement that exudes the essence of European craftsmanship.

“We’re fortunate that we can hold European-made, European-quality, European-design, and European-tech-driven products,” Petochi shares. “Every detail, from the inside mechanics to the external design, reflects the same dedication to excellence you find in the watches themselves.” That dedication is visible across ChronoVision’s collections, which include precision-engineered watch winders, luxury innovative safes, and accessories that are aimed at redefining modern watch care.

This redefinition begins with the ChronoVision Watch Winder, a device that keeps automatic watches running perfectly on time, even when they’re not being worn. Automatic watches rely on a spring movement to stay powered. Petochi notes that when these watches are left untouched for a period of time, the spring power runs out of energy, and the watch’s movement stops.

ChronoVision’s solution? Replicating the natural motion of the wrist, ensuring the timepiece remains in motion and accurate at all times. “Our winder keeps the watch moving just as if it were on your wrist,” Petochi explains. “Over a 24-hour period, the watch is always telling the correct time, and always protected.” Each winder is programmable to match the exact rotation per day required by specific watch brands, details that collectors can access through ChronoVision’s proprietary app for effortless precision.

Another innovation by ChronoVision is the High Flex Watch Holder Cuff. This design adapts seamlessly to any wrist size, from the most delicate to the biggest wrists, ensuring a proper, secure, and balanced fit for every timepiece. “One of the top complaints we hear people have about other winding companies,” he reveals, “is that their cuffs don’t fit every wrist. ChronoVision’s watch holder adjusts to every wrist size effortlessly while maintaining perfect stability, even for heavier watches. It becomes a one-size-fits-all.”

This commitment to innovation and intelligent design continues with Watch Roll, a compact yet luxurious watch storage and travel companion. While most watches are sold in large presentation boxes that often end up tucked away, the Watch Roll offers a refined alternative, lightweight, portable, and meticulously padded to protect delicate mechanisms and straps. “You can travel with it, keep it in a drawer or safe, and know your watch is perfectly secure,” says Petochi. “It’s designed for real use, not just display.”

Additionally, for serious collectors, ChronoVision also offers bespoke German-made safes, crafted from premium steel and equipped with integrated watch winders. These safes are built to provide protection not only for timepieces, but jewelry, important documents, and other valuables.

Behind the technology and design lies a deeply personal story. Petochi comes from a long line of jewelers, noting his family’s jewelry business since 1884. Yet his move into the watch accessory industry came from recognizing a gap in the market. “I witnessed that watch collectors needed products that matched the quality and sustainability of their European-made watches,” he shares. “There was a clear opportunity to bring higher standards to this segment. Jan Heisse’s ChronoVision designs and creates products to protect the watch and the legacy that comes with it.”

ChronoVision holds retailers at the core of its business operations, and its approach toward them is a testament to that. They provide each partner store with detailed product training so that every salesperson can confidently explain the function and value of ChronoVision’s offerings. “It’s important that when a customer asks about our products, the person in front of them truly understands how they work,” says Petochi. “We want our partners to feel as passionate about them as we do.”

Petochi’s journey with ChronoVision is ultimately about preserving the essence of time itself. Every product takes shape from a deep understanding of what a watch represents: heritage, precision, and emotion. As the company combines modern engineering with European artistry, ChronoVision has created objects of trust for those who see their watches as part of their identity.

As ChronoVision continues to expand across the United States, shipping products worldwide, it remains focused on creating with integrity, innovating with purpose, and ensuring that every timepiece, no matter its story, is given the modern care it deserves.
