The Midwest is not used to divas, it seems.

Alicia Keys’ temporary stay in Cleveland is leaving locals at a luxury apartment building a bit miffed, sources tell Page Six.

The singer has set up digs in a penthouse in the Ohio city while she launches the touring production of her Broadway hit “Hell’s Kitchen.”

And we hear residents are furious at management for shutting down eleveators whenever she enters and exits the building.

“It’s like she’s Queen Elizabeth. The [neighborging] streets were even shut down one night,” a source told Page Six.

Keys is said to be staying in the fancy buiilding, which counts the city’s mayor Justin Bibb as one of its tenants, for two weeks.

Despite a few grumpy townies, not all Clevelanders are sour on Keys – especially the theater crowd.

We hear some local fanatics were so excited about her visit to the Buckeye State that they even tried to crash a kick off party with the cast over the wekeend. (They didn’t get in).

Still, the native New Yorker’s “Hell’s Kitchen” is being felt throughout the town, cast party or not.

On Tuesday, Karl Michael Igelesias, community engagement fellow for Kaleidoscope Dreams Foundation, an org that “collaborates with local communities to create arts programs,” hosted a 90’s-themed block party to celebrate the Tony Award-winning musical.

“All of Cleveland come through,” he said in a social media post promoting the free event in Playhouse Square Plaza.

DJ Steph Floss provided tunes while Momma’s Deli served food. “NYC flavor is hitting The Land,” the video caption read.

And what screams NYC flavor louder than a block party and Alicia Keys. It’s unclear if she showed up, but she definitely brought her artsy Five Boroughs vibe to “The Land!”
