Several people have come forward to claim they were victimized by a woman accused by investigators in Los Angeles of targeting elderly men on social media dating platforms and apps and burglarizing their homes.
The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department identified the suspect as Adva Lavie, who has appeared in “Playboy” and “Penthouse” magazines and claims to be the first ever top Israeli OnlyFans model, saying she gains her victims’ trust before stealing from their homes.
Authorities say she has victimized at least 10 men in Malibu and L.A. County.
Lavie, described as a woman about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 104 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, is known to drive a black Porsche SUV and a white Mercedes-Benz sedan, and reportedly goes by several aliases, including Shoshana, Shana and Mia Ventura.
Michael Sartain, host of a podcast called “Access Vegas,” told KTLA’s Mary Beth McDade that while a guest on a special election night show of his podcast, Lavie went into the greenroom and stole credit cards and cash from their purses.
“She got up at the 45-minute mark, and she was gone for 45 minutes and just went through everyone’s bag,” he said.
Eden Lynn said she was one of the women victimized that night.
“At some point, she went in there and stole from multiple women, our credit cards, ID’s, cash, anything,” Lynn explained.
Lynn added that she knows Lavie was the culprit because of multiple attempted charges she tried to put on her American Express Card, including a pricey hair appointment at a Beverly Hills salon where Lavie booked the appointment under the name Mia Ventura.
“I got in contact with the salon and the stylish she booked with, and they gave me the name it was put under,” Lynn said. “She sent shots of the consultation FaceTime she did with her and the receipts and text messages.”
Adult film star Codey Steele told KTLA that he was victimized by Lavie while working with an L.A.-based party company. The company hired a group of people to go to France to work an event and put the group up in an Airbnb.
He said that while they were there, Lavie stole luxury items from himself and others while the group was out. The French authorities were called, who, after presumably investigating, made Lavie return the items.
“She decided to pretty much rob basically every person in that group, essentially anything marked with a designer label,” Steele said.
Sartain said that over the years, Lavie has been a fixture at charity events at L.A. and Vegas clubs and has been known to threaten her victims to keep them from going to police.
“She would threaten to file a false sexual assault charge or say that the guy offered her money for sex, or something to that effect,” he explained.
Jail records show that Lavie was last arrested in May on a felony charge and then bailed out, though it’s unclear if the charge was related to any of the alleged burglaries.
“At this point, everyone knows she’s guilty and she’s still stealing stuff, this seems like a mental illness,” Sartain said.
Detectives from the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station are urging anyone who may have had similar interactions with her to come forward.
