Reelz has hired advertising industry veteran Matt Greenberg as its new SVP Marketing and Growth for its streaming platform Reelz+.
Greenberg will oversee streaming, subscriber acquisition, lifecycle marketing and brand positioning for Reelz+, which is looking to accelerate subscriber growth and expand its digital footprint following its March launch.
“Matt is joining Reelz+ at a critical moment in our growth story,” Reelz COO Roger Eman said. “His background in performance-driven marketing is exactly what Reelz+ needs as we expand and scale our app-based streaming service.”
Greenberg joins from Monks (formerly Decoded Advertising), where he was Senior Director of Brand and Performance and helped lead acquisition and brand campaigns for the likes of Visa, Nike, HP, Dollar Shave Club and more. He has also overseen integrated brand partnership campaigns for the NFL, the FIFA World Cup and the Olympics.

Reelz+ content includes the live linear Reelz network and on-demand access to its library which includes the original series On Patrol: Live, which just aired its third season, and On Patrol: First Shift along with titles like Autopsy: The Last Hours of…, Gangsters: America’s Most Evil, Breaking the Band, Hollywood Hillbillies, Murder Made Me Famous and Jail.
Reelz is available in 54 million homes via cable and streaming services.
