On Tuesday, Kim Kardashian posted a photo dump to Instagram, all featuring looks from past fittings. Most of the outfits have yet to be worn in public.
Captioning the photo, “random fitting pix,” Kardashian models everything from a giant feathered coat to leather culottes.
The eclectic selection was amplified by older sister Kourtney’s comment, “I don’t know where you’re going, but some of these are a vibe.”
Buried among the drop, however, are a few looks that depict the 44-year-old channeling her inner showgirl. Rumored nemesis Taylor Swift would be pleased.
In one, staring towards the camera, Kardashian wears a white bodysuit with heavy pearl fringe covering the front. On her hands are white opera-length gloves.
The bodysuit fitting took place before the reality TV star’s August 2025 return to her dark roots, as her bleached blond hair coordinates effortlessly with her ivory outfit in the photo.
The ensemble is vintage Dolce & Gabbana, according to a press release from the design house. It is described as “a custom white power mesh bodysuit, adorned on the front panel with pearls and pearl fringes.”
And, while the pieces are not genuine vintage, they were inspired by items featured in the brand’s Spring/Summer 1990 collection.
The runway collection was the Italian fashion label’s international debut, marking its first presentation in New York City. The line was brimming with bodysuits and corset tops, all gem-encrusted, which heavily influenced the design for Kardashian’s latest custom creation.
Between the structure of the bodysuit, the low-hip silhouette, nipped-in waist and jeweled fringe, Kardashian’s look can’t help but remind the world of Swift’s new “Showgirl” era.
In two more, the Skims mogul wears a grey feathered coat, much like an iconic Las Vegas showgirl’s dressing robe, standing in one image while she sits with her bare legs crossed in another.
What’s more, she even tried a headpiece on for size, holding a black feathered one to her head while being fitted for a strapless ruched dress.
These over-the-top, embellished showgirl looks are an odd choice, considering a currently widespread theory among Taylor fans is that “Actually Romantic” is a diss track written about Kim Kardashian.
What message could this Kardashian sister be sending with these epic outfits that seem to never have made it out of her closet?
Maybe it’s just another one of those “funny valentines.”
