EXCLUSIVE: United Talent Agency has signed Emmy and SAG Award-nominated actor, comedian, and author Kevin Nealon for representation in all areas.
Nealon is best known for his nine years at Saturday Night Live, where he had recurring role as an anchor on Weekend Update, played memorable characters like Mr. Subliminal, and earned an Emmy nomination as part of the writing team. In addition to his stand-up, he’s otherwise best known for his work across eight seasons of Showtime’s Emmy and Golden Globe winner Weeds, a dark comedy series where he starred alongside Mary-Louise Parker.
The comedian recently reprised his role as pro golfer Gary Potter in Happy Gilmore 2, produces and hosts digital series Hiking with Kevin, and actively tours his stand-up globally. He has several film projects coming up, including Mermaid, which premiered to critical acclaim at SXSW earlier this year and was recently acquired by Utopia; Maybe We Should opposite Heather Graham, Lil Rel Howery and Matt Walsh; and the romantic dramedy The Weekend on Cape Cod When Everything Changed.
Earlier in his career, Nealon was seen in films including Anger Management, Eight Crazy Nights, The Wedding Singer, Happy Gilmore, Just Go With It, You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, Joe Dirt, Daddy Day Care, Roxanne, and Grandma’s Boy. In television, he most recently starred in CBS’s Man with a Plan across all four seasons.
Additional credits include the titular voice role of Glenn Martin, DDS in the stop-motion adult animated series of the same name, two critically acclaimed stand-up specials for Showtime, and appearances in acclaimed comedies like Monk and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
