Karl Glusman (Eenie Meenie), Alan Ruck (Succession), Evil star Katja Herbers, Eddie Marsan (The Bombing of Pan Am) and Jonathan Higginbotham (The Walking Dead: Dead City) have joined leads Victoria Pedretti and Kiera Allen in FX‘s drama pilot Disinherited, from Better Call Saul co-creator/executive producer Peter Gould.
In Disinherited, an unexpected inheritance thrusts a pair of scrappy sisters, Sarah (Allen) and Marian (Pedretti) into a world of generational wealth and long-buried crimes.
Glusman will play a paralegal who helps Sarah and Marian with the inheritance. Ruck will play a powerful attorney who handles the sisters’ inheritance case. Herbers will play a mother of a young boy who seemingly comes from an important family.
In addition to Gould, Rian Johnson, Ram Bergman, and Nena Rodrigue of T-Street executive produce. FX Productions is the studio.
Glusman, whose previous credits include Tom Ford’s Nocturnal Animals and Alex Garland’s Devs, was most recently seen in Eenie Meenie for Hulu and The Bikeriders. He’ll next be seen in Edgar Wright’s The Running Man and Paul Schrader’s Basics of Philosophy. He’s repped by Paradigm, Ilene Feldman Management, and Ziffren Brittenham.
Emmy-nominated for his work in Succession, and known for his performance in Ferri Bueller’s Day Off, Ruck recently co-starred in Hulu’s limited series The Dropout. He also recently starred in the Amazon Studios drama The Burial. He will next be seen in Wind River: Rising; Netflix’s People We Meet On Vacation and the independent feature In Memoriam. He’s repped by Independent Artist Group, Teitelbaum Artists Group, and Goodman Genow Schenkman Smelkinson & Christopher.
Marsan’s credits include Ray Donovan, Back to Black and Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power. He’s repped byUTA, Markham, Froggatt & Irwin and Jackoway, Austen, et al.
Herbers is best known for her work in Evil, Westworld and Manhattan. She’s repped by United Talent Agency, The Artists Partnership, and Untitled.
Higginbotham can most recently be seen opposite Michelle Buteau on the second season of Survival of the Thickest for Netflix and A24. He’s repped by Gersh and Anonymous Content.
