Dr. Phil McGraw has sealed a key carriage deal for his recently launched Envoy TV as he continues to navigate a legal thicket with his previous venture, Main Street Media.

Envoy Media Co., which debuted several months ago, and Spectrum parent Charter Communications announced a long-term distribution deal for Envoy TV on Monday. The agreement will put the network on Spectrum TV Select video packages starting in October. Charter is the No. 1 cable operator in the U.S., with 12.6 million subscribers in 41 states, including top markets New York, Los Angeles and Dallas-Fort Worth.

As Main Street has gone through a bankruptcy proceeding, McGraw has also filed a breach of contract lawsuit against former partner Trinity Broadcasting.

Envoy TV, which was unveiled several months ago, is a 24/7 network “created and curated” by McGraw, the companies said, with a blend of news, lifestyle and sports programming aiming for a higher purpose.

“I’m thrilled to be putting on the Charter team jersey and launching our new flagship Envoy TV network with my friends at the nation’s leading cable and broadband provider,” McGraw said in a statement.

Envoy Media said it will be announcing additional carriage news and programming details in the coming weeks.

“Dr. Phil is a leading and iconic voice in television with a large fan base and bringing his network to our lineup further expands the entertainment choices available to Spectrum customers at an exceptional value,” said Tom Montemagno, EVP, Programming Acquisition for Charter.
