With her farewell tour ended and her CBS special A Grammy Salute to Cyndi Lauper: Live from the Hollywood Bowl in the rear view mirror, Cyndi Lauper is on to her next project: Her first-ever Las Vegas residency.
Lauper, who has said she doesn’t plan on touring again, will settle down at the The Colosseum at Caesars Palace from April 24 through May 2, 2026.
In an Instagram post today announcing Cyndi Lauper: Live In Las Vegas, Lauper wrote, “Vegas will become ‘Cyn City’ next spring, when I bring my Girls Just Wanna Have Fun show to town for this special run, an opportunity for fans who missed my Farewell Tour to celebrate one last time.”
A pre-sale for the five-show run go begins Wednesday, October 8, with general ticket sales starting Friday, October 10. A ticket link will be posted on Lauper’s Instagram bio Wednesday.
Lauper closed out her nearly year-long Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour with a two-night stand August 29-30 at the Hollywood Bowl, where last night’s CBS special was taped. Lauper will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on November 8 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Other inductees include Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Outkast, Soundgarden and The White Stripes.
The world premiere of Lauper’s stage musical adaptation of 1988’s Working Girl (with book by Theresa Rebeck) is set for October 28 – December 7 at the La Jolla Playhouse in San Diego.
