PHOENIX — Steakhouse and cocktail restaurant Diamond Don’s is set to celebrate its grand opening in downtown Mesa on Tuesday, according to a press release.
The new joint is located at Main and Center streets and will feature live music from diamond-certified producer The Saltmine Studio Oasis and a menu with wagyu steaks, artisan pizzas and an extensive drink arrangement.
On Tuesday at 1 p.m., Mesa Mayor Mark Freeman and other city council staff will be present at a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
There will also be food samples offered for guests in attendance.

The restaurant will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and open for dinner from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Wednesday through Sunday.
Featured food items are “The Don” Philly Cheesesteak and The Wagyu Hot Dog (served on a brioche bun with Diamond fry sauce) and drink are Daddy’s Money cocktail (mix of Buffalo Trace, ginger ale and beer plus lime) and house favorite Saltmine Sunrise, a tequila base with electrolyte blend.
Diamond Don’s sits right next to recording studio The Saltmine Studio Oasis, which has been a city staple since 1984. Customers can expect a new playlist each time they visit, as the brand has a rotating lineup of genres, which includes hip-hop, country, EDM, rock and jazz.
