Mitchell was arrested on outstanding warrants for first-degree and fourth-degree theft and is facing several new charges, such as:
- 9 counts – Possession of Burglars’ Tools

- 1 count – Resisting Arrest
- 1 count – Driving While License Suspended/Revoked
- 1 count – Switched Tag
Mitchell is currently being held in the Limestone County Detention Facility, and as the investigation continues, additional charges may be brought.
LCSO said residents in the Ardmore area who have their catalytic converter missing are encouraged to contact the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office at (256) 232-0111, as investigators may have recovered their stolen property.
