MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Court documents say that a Madison County woman has had her bond revoked over “non-compliance.”

Megan Nicole Tillery was indicted by a federal grand jury on March 5 on ten counts of using a facility in interstate commerce in furtherance of unlawful activity.

However, according to court documents, Tillery must not “use, possess, or be around any unlawful controlled substances or the paraphernalia associated with the use of controlled substances.” Since July, she had tested positive several times for different substances.

The U.S. Probation Officer recommended her bond be revoked and that a warrant be issued for Tillery’s arrest.

Tillery is a former employee of the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program is a federally-funded program to provide assistance to eligible households to pay their utility bills and expenses. The program provided CAP with thousands of dollars in benefits to help those in need pay their utility bills in Madison and Limestone Counties.

Her indictment stated that Tillery accepted around $1,900 in total from two individuals, identified as “Individual 1” and “Individual 2,” through Cash App for her to disperse LIHEAP benefits to pay for their and others’ utility bills.
