From micro-mini dresses to flowing black tie gowns, Amal Clooney always nails date night style.
Of course, Amal’s date nights look a little different than ours, arm-in-arm with husband George.
On Friday night, less than a week after celebrating their 11th wedding anniversary, the pair got dressed up for a special evening in London in honor of the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s Albie Awards.
Amal wowed, as always, choosing a brown gown from Atelier Versace by Dario Vitale for the evening, which exuded Old Hollywood glamour.
The choice of designer was fitting, as Versace was one of the event sponsors. Moreover, the Italian fashion house’s new Creative Director, Vitale, just showed his first collection for the brand last month during Milan Fashion Week.
Vitale’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection for Versace was the first since Donatella Versace was reportedly ousted from her position at the helm. The namesake designer (and sister to the brand’s founder) was not present at this season’s show.
Crafted in the color of the season, Amal’s gown was a warm brown hue of gently tucked silk, which effortlessly fell from the structured bodice over her waist and hips, cascading in a train behind her.
George stood by her side, looking equally classic in a navy tuxedo.
This year, the foundation is honoring Gambian activist Fatou Baldeh, Guatemalan journalist Jose Rubén Zamora, American journalist Marty Baron, and American philanthropist Melinda French Gates.
Just a few days ago, the Clooneys stepped out for a very different kind of date night, though brought the style with just as much fervor, in celebration of George’s new film, “Jay Kelly.”
For the movie premiere, Amal chose a short, 3D floral dress from Oscar de la Renta, while George went for a slightly more casual suit, shirt, and forwent the tie altogether.
No matter what type of date night they choose, one of our favorite power couples never ceases to make headlines with both their causes and their A-list style.
