DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) — Rock The South, an annual country and southern rock music festival held in Cullman is making a move to Decatur in 2026.

For 15 years, Rock the South has been more than just a festival, it’s been a Southern tradition.

What originally started in 2012 to support tornado recovery efforts is now a major event that celebrates Southern culture, first responders, and community with top musical acts and a festival atmosphere.

The event attracts thousands of fans for live music, food, and family-friendly fun, with organizers also donating a portion of proceeds to local charities.

On a social media post made on Facebook, Rock The South organizers said that the country and southern rock concert will be moving to The Fields at Decatur on June 11-13.

According to the social media post, Rock The South owns the land giving organizers the chance to utilize over 150 acres off of the four lane Gordon Terry Parkway, expanded campgrounds with professionally engineered drainage, more shade, and a brand-new Fan Zone.

That Fan Zone will debut with a SECOND STAGE presented by Raised Rowdy, bringing fans even more music, louder nights, and bigger moments.

The lineup for the 2026 concert is expected to be released soon.
