Never ones to not try to ruin a good time, Donald Trump‘s Homeland Security plans to swarm Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX Halftime performance, the right-hand man to DHS Secretary Kristi Noem promised today.

“I don’t care if it’s a concert for Johnny Smith or Bad Bunny or anybody else,” Corey Lewandowski told Benny Johnson on the latter’s podcast Wednesday of the upcoming big game in February. “We’re going to do enforcement everywhere. We are going to make Americans safe. That is a directive from the president. If you’re in this country illegally, do yourself a favor: go home.”

Lewandowski, whose star often risies and falls in Trump world, went on to talk tough about the superstar King of Latin Trap on The Benny Show by saying: “There is nowhere that you can provide safe haven to people in this country illegally. Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else. We will find you. We will apprehend you. We will put you in a detention facility, and we will deport you. So know that that is a very real situation under this administration, which is completely contrary to what how it used to be.”

CONFIRMED: ICE will be active and on-site at Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance.

Trump Advisor Corey Lewandowski warns: there’s no place ICE won’t go to remove criminal aliens from the US, even the Super Bowl:

It is unclear if Trump’s one-time campaign manager and close aide to Noem knew of Bad Bunny’s recent pledge not to tour the USA this year because of concerns DHS and the masked agents of “f*cking ICE” would target fans at his shows. However, Lewandowski certainly put his music critic MAGA hat on when it came to the Puerto Rican multiple Grammy winner and chart topper.

“It’s so shameful that they’ve decided to pick somebody who just seems to hate America so much to represent them at the halftime game,” the staffer said to Johnson of the the Spanish-speaking artist born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio.

Of course, if by hating America, one means selling and streaming boatloads of albums and tunes, appearing at WWE matches and showing up in very popular flicks like Adam Sandler and Netflix’s Happy Gilmore 2 — perhaps Lewandowski needs to conduct a poll or two to clear up what’s he actually talking about.

The NFL did not respond to Deadline’s request for comment on Lewandowski’s ICE threats.

The first Latin performer to solo headline the much-watched and now Apple-sponsored halftime show, Bad Bunny himself was pretty pumped up about the Jay-Z and Roc Nation-run Super Bowl set after the announcement was made public on September 28. “I’m going to enjoy, he told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe and Ebro Darden on September 29 of the hip hop icon and the NFL’s decision to buck MAGA sensibilities this time round. “I’m going to embrace the moment. I’m going to show what we have, our music, our culture. I’m just going to the stage to enjoy and have fun.”

Bad Bunny is on a massive roll this year, with a just completed SRO 30-show San Juan residency “No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí” (“I Don’t Want to Leave Here”) on his home island. This weekend, the performer will be fronting the Season 51 premiere of Saturday Night Live on NBC.

Here on the mainland, Super Bowl LX is set for February 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA, and will be broadcast on NBC. Whether or not the South Park–mocked Trump, and Noem, or Lewandowski or the menacing ICE show up, California’s recent no mask and identification laws will be in effect by the time of the Super Bowl (they kick in fully on January 1, 2026), so it might not be the show of strength Lewandowski expects.
