Get set for another Reba reunion at Happy’s Place. Reba alumna JoAnna Garcia Swisher is set to guest star in the upcoming second season of NBC‘s Happy’s Place, reuniting with her former on-screen mom, Reba McEntire.

Swisher will play Kenzie, a local Knoxville influencer who has been hired to represent Happy’s Place for their upcoming social media marketing campaign and all of it is much to Bobbie’s (McEntire) chagrin.

In Happy’s Place, Bobbie (McEntire) inherits her father’s tavern (Happy’s Place) and is surprised to discover that she has a new business partner, Isabella (Belissa Escobedo), a twentysomething half-sister she never knew she had.

In Season 2, Happy’s Place reopens its doors, and a long-buried secret comes to light that will test loyalties and shake things up inside the tavern. Through it all, Bobbie must remind everyone that family isn’t what you’re born into, but it’s the people that stand beside you, even in the workplace.

Swisher is the latest Reba alum to guest star on Happy’s Place, following Steve Howey and Christopher Rich cameos in Season 1.

In addition to McEntire and Escobedo, cast also includes Melissa Peterman, Pablo Castelblanco, Tokala Black Elk and Rex Linn.

Writer Kevin Abbott executive produces with McEntire, Michael Hanel, Mindy Schultheis, Matt Berry and Pamela Fryman.

Created by Kevin Abbott and Julie Abbott, Happy’s Place is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.

Season 2 premieres Friday, Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, and is available the next day on Peacock.

Swisher is best known for playing McEntire’s oldest daughter, Cheyenne, in Reba from 2001-2007, earning a Teen Choice Award nomination for Breakout Star. See the Reba episodic photo of McEntire, Swisher and Howey above.

Swisher is currently in production on Season 5 of Netflix’s Sweet Magnolias, starring as Maddie Townsend in the series, based on Sherryl Woods’ popular book series. She also is directing two episodes in Season 5. She most recently returned as host for Season 2 of The Ultimatum: Queer Love for Netflix. Swisher and her company Rolling Clover and Rolling Clover Reads recently served as producers of Providence Falls on Hallmark, a three-part adaptation of Jude Deveraux and Tara Sheets’ book series. Previous TV credits include As Luck Would Have It, Gossip Girl, Royal Pains, How I Met Your Mother and Freaks and Geeks, among many others. She’s repped by UTA and Untitled Entertainment.
