Sydney Sweeney celebrated her 28th birthday this past weekend with a star-studded, space-themed party.
While Sweeney was definitely the belle of her own ball in Britney Spears’ 2008 dress by The Blonds, guest Lauren Sánchez certainly drew some attention with her look as well.
Posing for a photo alongside the birthday girl, Sánchez, 55, wore a similar metallic micro-minidress with a neckline so low it seemed like a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen.
While her dress was not specifically space-themed, the metallic nature of the look gave a nod towards the futuristic aspect of the party’s wardrobe inspiration.
When it comes to her style, Sánchez is known for her hourglass silhouettes and low-cut necklines. This dress was no exception.
The designer of Sánchez’s dress has yet to be confirmed.
Sweeney and Sánchez seem to have become friends over the past few months.
Sweeney attended the Venice wedding of Sánchez and Jeff Bezos, though it was speculated that it was due to the actress’ role in an upcoming film for Bezos’ Amazon MGM Studios.
Only time will tell whether this is a true friendship or simply a party-hopping season for Sánchez and Sweeney.
