Studio Nicholson and Mackintosh have teamed up on a limited-edition capsule that fuses Mackintosh’s century-old waterproofing expertise with Studio Nicholson’s modern design language. Crafted in the U.K. from Mackintosh’s signature rubberized bonded cotton, where two premium cotton layers are fused with rubber for complete weather protection, the unisex range comprises three core pieces rendered in an evergreen palette of navy, black and peat.
The Ettrick raincoat, cut just past the knee, balances an oversized silhouette with tailored detailing, while the Teviot jacket hits at the waist and is trimmed with a taped black hem and button-fastened throat guard for extra coverage. Rounding out the trio, the roomy Tay pant offers relaxed volume and practical taped pockets. Every garment is finished with dark-brown Studio Nicholson buttons, reinforcing the collection’s refined yet functional aesthetic.
Available October 3, the collaboration is priced from £525 – £1,395 GBP (approx. $704–$1,870 USD) and will launch simultaneously on Studio Nicholson’s and Mackintosh’s online stores as well as in select brick-and-mortar boutiques.
