Star Wars: Visions was introduced in 2021 as one of the franchise’s most unique series to date. Lucasfilm teamed up with nine anime studios to create nine short stories. From there, it followed up with nine animation studios from around the world for the second volume in 2023. Now, a third volume, circling back to just Japanese studios, is about to arrive.
The official trailer for Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 has just been shared, highlighting all nine of the stories. Several of these build upon storylines introduced in the first volume, with fan favorites like the Ronin making a return. Below is the complete list of studios involved, as well as many of the prominent English voice actors:
david production, Kamikaze Douga + ANIMA, Kinema citrus Co., Polygon Pictures, Production I.G, Project Studio Q, TRIGGER, and WIT Studio have all crafted stories to share while Anna Sawai, Freddie Highmore, George Takei, Harvey Guillén, Jodie Turner-Smith, Judith Light, Simu Liu, Stephanie Hsu, and Steve Buscemi all voice their own characters.
Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 is set to drop exclusively via Disney+ on October 29, with all nine anime shorts available for streaming at once. In the meantime, you can revisit the previous two volumes on Disney+ today.
