The wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner was granted a two-year mental health diversion program on Thursday after being arrested for allegedly firing a gun at Los Angeles police officers — a deal that could see her felony charges dismissed.

Jillian Shriner, 52, was ruled to be “eligible and suitable” for mental health diversion, which allows defendants with a qualifying mental health or substance abuse disorder to undergo community-based treatment instead of serving time in prison.

“If she successfully completes the conditions of the diversion, the case will be dismissed by the court,” the LA County District Attorney’s office told NBC 4.

Shriner pleaded not guilty to weapons charges earlier this year that stemmed from a bizarre standoff with the LAPD in April, where she brandished a handgun at officers and fired from her yard while they were searching for suspects in a nearby hit-and-run incident, police said.

Shriner refused to comply with multiple orders for her to drop the gun, prompting the cops to open fire and strike her in the arm, according to the LAPD.

She was taken to the hospital and later booked in jail, with Shriner released from custody after posting a $1 million bail.

As part of the mental health diversion program, LA County Superior Court Judge Susan De Witt ordered Shriner to follow certain conditions, including abstaining from illicit drugs and alcohol.

Shriner was also ordered to continue to participate in weekly therapy sessions, undergo random drug and alcohol testing, and attend at least three Alcoholics Anonymous meetings a week.

She is also not allowed to own or possess any guns or knives while under the program.

The DA’s office stressed that “any violation” of the orders could result in the diversion program’s termination, which would land Shriner back in court.

Shriner is scheduled to return to the LA courthouse on Jan. 9 to report her progress under the diversion program.

Scott and Jillian Shriner married in 2005 and have two adopted children.

In addition to being a rock star’s wife, Shriner is an author of several best-selling nonfiction books under her maiden name, Jillian Lauren.
