PHOENIX — World-renowned rock band The Killers will be coming back to the Valley to perform on the iconic 16th hole at TPC Scottsdale for the Concert in the Coliseum ahead of the 2026 WM Phoenix Open, officials announced Friday.

The band will take the stage on Jan. 31, just two days before PGA golfers begin practice rounds for the event, which is also known as “The People’s Open.”

“The Killers have been on our radar for years; they embody the spirit and energy of the loudest hole in golf,” 2026 WM Phoenix Open Tournament Chairman Jason Eisenberg said in a press release Friday. “We can’t wait for them to hit the stage and create another memorable night at the WM Phoenix Open.”

Ohhh baby! Concert in the Coliseum is BACK at the iconic 16th hole. The one, the only, @thekillers are bringing their legendary anthems to center stage. This one’s gonna be massive. Set your alarms – tickets drop one week from today.

Tickets to see The Killers will go on sale next Friday and can be purchased through the WM Phoenix Open website.

  • Country star Bailey Zimmerman added to Phoenix Open Birds Nest concert lineup
  • Phoenix concert calendar: Keep track of the biggest upcoming Valley shows
  • Metro Phoenix events calendar: Fall festivals, haunted houses, state fair and more

The concert is only open to those 21 years old or older.

The Killers were formed in Las Vegas in 2002 and have had 11 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with their top hit, “Mr. Brightside,” spending 38 weeks on the chart and reaching as high as No. 10.

The group was last in the Valley in February when they performed at the Innings Festival in downtown Tempe.

What is the Concert in the Coliseum?

The Concert in the Coliseum is a one-night-only concert experience inside of the stadium built around the 16th hole on TPC Scottsdale’s Stadium Course, which has earned the reputation as the loudest hole on the PGA Tour.

“The Concert in the Coliseum has quickly become the signature event to kick off the week that is ‘The People’s Open,’” Eisenberg said.

The concert was first held in 2022 and featured country artists Thomas Rhett and Old Dominion. Other headliners have included:

  • Maroon 5 and Walker Hayes in 2023.
  • Post Malone in 2024.
  • Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani in 2025.

Who else is performing at the 2026 WM Phoenix Open?

Along with the Concert in the Coliseum, concerts are held nightly during Phoenix Open week at the Birds Nest.

The 21-and-older concerts will be held Feb. 4-7 at 82nd Street and Bell Road, across the street from the main entrance to the golf tournament.

Two of next year’s headliners have already been announced.

Country star Bailey Zimmerman will perform with special guest Chase Matthew on Feb. 4, followed the next night by up-and-coming country star Zach Top, who will perform with special guest ERNEST.

The headliners for Feb. 6 and 7 have not yet been announced.
