President Trump snarked Thursday that he told Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to “take back” Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar after she made a series of vile remarks about Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
“I met the head of Somalia, did you know that?” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office, referring to the home country of the Minnesota “Squad” lawmaker.
“And I suggested that maybe he’d like to take her back. And he said, ‘I don’t want her.’”
The zinger — made after the congresswoman unleashed a series of hateful tirades against the slain 31-year-old Turning Point USA founder — left Vice President JD Vance, FBI Director Kash Patel, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, and other cabinet officials seemingly laughing in support.
One day after Kirk was gunned down at an outdoor speaking event in Utah on Sept. 10, Omar groused over the outpouring of admiration for the conservative icon and slammed his “hateful rhetoric.”
“There are a lot of people who are talking about him just wanting to have a civil debate,” Omar sneered to progressive outlet Zeteo.
“These people are full of s— and it’s important for us to call them out while we feel anger and sadness.”
She later shared a separate video on X slamming Democrats and celebrities for “normalizing Kirk,” describing the close Trump ally as a “reprehensible human being” and a “stochastic terrorist.”
Omar later doubled down on her venomous comments on CNN.
“I’m not going to sit here and be judged for not wanting to honor any legacy this man has left behind, that should be in the dustbin of history, and we should hopefully move on and forget the hate that he spewed every day,” the controversial rep said.
South Carolina GOP Rep. Nancy Mace moved to censure Omar for “celebrating murder,” but the measure was blocked last week when four House Republicans joined Democrats in narrowly opposing it.
Legendary pro-golfer Phil Mickelson also ripped Omar for her vitriolic comments about Kirk and called for her to be “sent back” to the East African nation.
“Ilhan spews hate every time she opens her mouth, she came here fraudulently and will hopefully be sent back to Somalia soon,” the LIV Tour golfer wrote on X Saturday.
The three-time Masters champ was responding to a video of the lefty politician calling Kirk “Dr. Frankenstein” and saying he “was killed by his monster.”
Tyler Robinson — a 22-year-old with “leftist ideologies” and a transgender boyfriend — was charged with aggravated murder and other offenses in the killing of the father of two at Utah Valley University.
Omar did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
