Taylor Swift is returning to late night.
Jimmy Fallon posted a teaser for Swift’s appearance to social media on Thursday, cheekily announcing the star will sit across from him on Oct. 6—just three days after the release of her upcoming album The Life of a Showgirl.
Swift will be retracing her steps with the appearance, as she also appeared on The Tonight Show three days after the release of 2022’s Midnights.
The news comes in the midst of the star’s busy promotional wave, which reached a crescendo when she announced the title of the new album on boyfriend Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast.
Swift’s appearance on that show broke a Guinness World Record for most concurrent views ever on YouTube. Less than two weeks later, Swift and Kelce delighted fans again by announcing their engagement on Instagram.

Swift’s album rollout will culminate with the release of Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl in AMC Theaters the weekend of Oct. 3.
Fallon’s teaser for her subsequent Tonight Show appearance stopped short of mentioning her by name, opting instead to reveal the news with Swift-esque Easter Eggs.
Alongside the caption, “Not a lot going on at the moment,” a nod to the phrase Swift used to tease the release of Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions on social media, Fallon plays a roulette wheel in the video that lands on the number 13—famously, Swift’s lucky number.

The host then tells himself, “Baby, that’s show business for you,” echoing the phrase Swift’s been using to promote her newest album, before several showgirls whisk past him.
Though Swift has also made appearances on Seth Meyers’ and Jimmy Kimmel’s shows, her seventh appearance on Fallon’s continues her established rapport with that late night host, as he’s hosted Swift the most times of any other.
